Announcement: The Patrician Ultraman Group (P.U.G.) enters eternity

And they shall not grow old

Beloved Substack readers,

I just wanted to announce that membership in the Patrician Ultraman Group subscription tier is now and forever closed. When I started this Substack I planned to do monthly videogame nights for a select group of elite individuals willing to put an extra $15 annually on the line, the P.U.G. Unfortunately, organizing, planning, and promoting these things ended up being a bit of a time sink and the game nights were usually only very sparsely attended. I don’t think we’ve had one in more than a year, and if there have been any complaints about that, I don’t think I’ve noticed them.

I’m sincerely grateful for every P.U.G. member (and, to a $15 lesser extent, annually) all paid subscribers to this Substack). I apologize for not being to deliver on this, and if you spent extra money because you thought these were going to be a part of your subscription, I apologize even more.

In recognition of the, now retired, P.U.G.’s enormous courage, conviction, conventional attractiveness, I’ve decided to comp all 117 (incredible coincidence) current and past P.U.G. members lifetime paid subscriptions to this Substack. I think I got everyone, but if you weren’t comped for whatever reason just reply and I’ll take care of it.

To all free subscribers to this Substack: You are slave retard trash who has never contributed anything, much less $5, to history or society at large. Fuck you. You are beneath my contempt. You’re not even a person to me. You’re more like an object, like a rock or something, although a rock might have some marginal mineral value or other utility whereas you have nothing to offer anyone, ever.
