A big attack I’ve seen thrown at Abdul is that he has a very Muslim name. It’s true, and it sucks that we live in a time where he is taken seriously, but he should be taken seriously for the things he says, not for his Muslim name. It’s a good point to hold him accountable to what he says he will do, it’s all on tape, it’s right there. His name is already a turn off for many voters, there’s no need to make it a front and center issue.
I think we are in a historic position that if we get two terms of Vance allowing time policies that are currently being implemented to bear fruit, plus a continuation of America First policy we are in a whole different world. We have to play a perfect game from here on out.
I have no political sway other than my vote. I have no following nor do I have anything much useful to say other than; I want to leave the DSA/communists to die in a wasteland and hand feed them pain.
My old man went from dropping out of college to go kill reds in the early 60’s to attending Bernie and AOC rallies now. His shift happened in 2020. He’s 85 has plenty of money and owns homes but wants that health care for free. I’m going to have to commit him for lack of discernment.
