There is an entire cottage industry that revolves around driving rightwingers insane. Once someone loses their composure in this way it’s very unlikely they will regain it because they become emotionally invested in their catastrophic predictions coming true. When nothing happens this time (I still think this is the most likely outcome), they will just panic over something different next week.
