It is amazing how none of the leftwing terrorism of the early 1900s is talked about. I have pissed off a lot of my fellow vets arguing about how the Bonus Army got what it had coming in the end because they refuse to believe that it was communist operation.
After rereading this, I'm amazed how brazen some people are in their efforts to lie to a court. Telling lies, sure. Coaching a witness, sure. Bribing/threatening a juror, sure. But literally attempting stage magician tricks to cast doubt on physically present evidence is impressive(ly evil).
I now have more respect for the role of a judge. Sure, there are plenty of bad judges, but it takes incredible discipline to preside over a clown show like this, and I would not be surprised if there are clown shows in US courts every day.
Between reading your recent articles along with The Russian Revolution by Sean McMeekin and seeing recent events, it is undeniable that both in the past and the present, the left has been far more organized and devoted to their cause. This has to change. It is pathetic when I see instances of the left having no real path to victory and yet they still get their way or at least close to it all while the right will slam dunk opportunities that end up as air balls time and again.
This is exemplified by the other day when I was looking into Albertan separatism. For the first time in a very long time the right could score a serious win in Canada. The problem? Nobody is in charge. There are no real leaders. There is no institution that is working on behalf of the people. It is the same story across the entirety of the west. It is a miracle we ever get any wins. I do not know exactly how to fix this problem or if I am the right person for the job but I feel the urge to at least do some research to figure out what solutions are viable.
My initial thought is to start an NGO that has our interests in mind. The first phase would simply be to build a website, get enough donations to hire a small staff for social media, and start networking both domestically and aboard. As the org grows, sub organizations for each region of the country would be created to help promote causes and candidates. Ideally, given enough time I would like to set up organizations in each state and have multiple chapters within each state. I would also like to create or partner with or build up organizations in other countries. At the start it would primarily be about creating a grading chart for politicians so that ineffective ones can be ousted, mobilizing right wingers for volunteer work, spreading news, and other cheap or free initiatives. Ideally I would like to get to a point where we could be hand picking politicians and helping with their campaigns, funding documentaries to educate people, and much more. I have no idea how possible (or legal) any of this is. I'm just spitballing right now and I don't know where to even start. Has anything like this even been tried? I can't see I'm aware of any institution fighting for the American people in my lifetime. All I know is it is time for action and once we get fast the difficult part of actually creating a structure we can operate within, we can achieve great things.
It’s good to know, that in this case, law fare prevailed. So many other instances of these people getting reduced sentences or outright acquitted for their violent anti American rhetoric have shown that we are playing against the house; who has a stacked deck. We can NOT share a country with these people. Short of our own violent uprising, how are we expected to keep this evil at bay? I can only give away so many free month subscriptions for this substack…
Wow, I never knew about these early anarchists in the US. I'm not sure when the Mafia became a thing in the US but they sound like they would have been perfect candidates.
Statues of Columbus, imo, are simply a nod to a significant point and person in history but wanting to replace one with a statue of these guys is certainly a lot more than that.
I've seen a lot reaction to Mamdani winning this primary and claims he wants to institute Sharia and is an "antisemite". Yeah, no. His mother's family were Hindu (and her first husband was a Jew) and his father's were Muslim but I'm not seeing any religious zealotry. Mamdani is just a straight up Marxist. He claims he doesn't advocate violence but based on this one has to wonder if that's true. What communist doesn't?

Hey BOZO, it’s only 8:31 AM EST. Some of us are still at work. Get a watch.
Pull up your pants and get a job.

I believe you are describing the John Birch Society.

Highly recommend Bill Bryson’s One Summer, which covers this (and a ton of other interesting topics).
