"It must stop. Your journey of self-discovery is not interesting. Your political awakening is not interesting. You argument is not interesting. Your insights are not interesting. Your problems are not interesting. I’m not impressed. No one wants to hear about your faggot life. Abolish yourself. Abolish discourse. People need to become human again, which is to say they need to become instincts, duties, and roles rather than egos and memes."

All-timer right there.

This and the closing paragraph have really stuck with me over the past year.

I really really wish you didnt hit the nail on the head so exactly so long ago now but you did. I've now experienced people that I thought were grounded and thought were stable and "got it" lose their minds over the smallest things and troon out for just no reason, not even able to understand that the bigger picture is what matters.

Dont know if its better to just cut them loose or try to hold on or give them enough rope to hang themselves or what. The crazies are only getting crazier and the people that were on the edge already are only falling faster.

Listened to this again today and the “Here are some things to fix our current situation: kill your self” still hits so hard on the nice lady TTS

“We live in a shithole because everyone lies all the time”. Yes, this. It’s demoralizing enough from the left (look at that Virginia redistricting question & results). But why do this on the right? Maybe I’m pessimistic, but there are two years of opportunity left and all the stupid controversies are just distracting.

With the revelations that the SPLC has been funding millions of dollars to the White Power organizations it claimed to want to stop and dismantle, it would be great to hear your take on Ryan Gosling’s “The Believer” (2001). That movie always stuck with me, particularly its ending.
