This was so optimistic I thought it was one of the sarcastic articles at first. But I've definitely felt this energy myself. Like people just don't have the energy to react with horror at a conservative holding normal beliefs any more.

I got a couple of AWFL VPs canned by saying, essentially, that identity politics in the workplace has no measurable objective (You want more women in the workplace? How many? Can you articulate a percentage?), and is therefore about affirmation and validating feelings, not objectives. Otherwise there would be a clearly articulated goal like there is for everything else. Work is not a therapist's office.

Don't get cocky, but if you see an opening to do some damage to shitlibs, take it, if (and only if) you're willing to accept the worst case. I'm so sick of the bullshit after the vax, I was willing to get fired to take some of these women out.

In other words, don't get cocky or emotional, but fuck these people.

I'm legitimately curious: on what do you base your optimism that Trump will win the 2024 election? I would describe everything that's happened politically since the end of 2015 as "really crazy" already. There's quite a lot of evidence out there that the national security apparatus took very heavy-handed direct action to attempt to sabotage his first election, then to hamstring his administration's ability to enact policy when he was in office. And that's not even getting into the 2020 debacle. To put it mildly, there seem to be many powerful people in this country (and out of it) that really don't like Trump and anything he stands for.

What I'm wondering is what has changed where all the same players would allow him to take office again and give oxygen to a worldview and governing philosophy that is directly opposed to many of their interests?

I'll be more prosaic: IF Trump wins in '24 (which I don't think will happen under any circumstances), the streets of many if not most American cities will briefly resemble a Hieronymus Bosch painting. Do not find yourself out and about if this happens.

Concur. I expect a leftist General Uprising if it looks like Trump is going to succeed. 2024 is the Year of Decision.

You aren’t armed and you don’t hit the range regularly? Shame on you!

Being armed and having good aim and being calm under pressure are great! But you shouldn't be going into a Leftist city and trying to be another Rittenhouse. He was very lucky to have survived the attacks and to have been given a fair trial. That did not happen to Chauvin or Penny.

Yeah I do not know what this guy is talking about. He is going to grab his AR, plate carrier, and NODs and go into a Blue city to shoot rioters? Insanely naive. Even if he has no trouble smoking a bunch of them his life will be a living hell afterwards once the Eye of Sauron falls upon him. The system will try very hard to keep another Rittenhouse from slipping out of their grasp.

I disagree.

It will not take a hundred years.

It might have taken the Marxists a 100 years.

A long march can be quickly changed with a course correction.

Trump turned this country around, in 2 years.

He will do it again

I don't feel the need to hide my political beliefs on the internet or in discussions but there absolutely is stuff that I need to keep to myself.

Don't be goaded into revealing your power levels if you don't want to.

There is no sense in losing heart, much less so when better men have endured far worse before we ever did. In it for the long haul- a long bet, indeed.
