I just wanted to remind you that we’re going to have our first book club episode next week.
I’m very excited about this program. Our first book is one of my favorites: Always with Honor: The Memoirs of General Wrangel. We’ve already gotten an enormous number of very thoughtful responses to my discussion prompts on the first 3 chapters, which cover up to the start of the Russian Civil War. If you want a refresher on the high level history of this period, check out my brief introduction to the Russian Revolution.

If the physical copy you ordered has not arrived yet, a public domain copy can be found on the Internet Archive. Kindle also has it for $4.
