Always with Honor
Hi all,
I just wanted to remind you that we’re going to have our first book club episode next week.
I’m very excited about this program. Our first book is one of my favorites: Always with Honor: The Memoirs of General Wrangel. We’ve already gotten an enormous number of very thoughtful responses to my discussion prompts on the first 3 chapters, which cover up to the start of the Russian Civil War. If you want a refresher on the high level history of this period, check out my brief introduction to the Russian Revolution.

My hope is to finish the reading in the next couple days and leave my replies on the first book club post. Chapter two is a doozy because a lot is happening and there are a lot of names thrown around. It’s all hard to keep track of who is who and what faction they are apart of.
