On the Weed stuff, its also crazy how heavily its still promoted in movies and TV. Isnt Tobacco basically bannedy but casual weed use is often portrait extremly favourably. Even when it was still illegal. Also all these Comedians promoting it. It really needs to be banned atleast from public places and if the odor annoys any other tenants you need to be fined into oblivion.

having a Stream of consciousness here, but its so insane with all the weed legal its just normal now that quite a lot of people are now just constantly drugged throughout the day at work. Meanwhile a glass of wine for lunch at work is banned. But before no one was promoting just being day drunk (all the time) and you would be considered a mad men or sick.

Citizen Vigilante but for weedheads.

Just had my first tattoo removal session today. Really disappointed how little the technology for that process has been though. 5"x9" thigh tattoo I've had for 15 years and will apparently take 6-10 sessions to remove. Each session is $250 and spaced 6 weeks apart.

Better to just not get them.

Yeah, also people just get scribbles as tattoos nowadays. Also Weed needs to be banned and use of it should lead to public caning.

Smoke shops in general need to be banned. They are a blight on small towns all across the heartland.

Weed and tattoos seem to be becoming millennial coded and uncool. The trend on tiktok has been sharply against both and Im optimistic that the wave will break and recede soon. Sadly in my suburb we have recently gotten a weed store, but the patronage seems to be muted.

Tattoos and weed have reached epidemic levels and need to be addressed. We probably can't ban it, but making it extremely taboo and seen as low class is possible. This should also be the pro-life strategy going forward. It's too third rail for conventional politics, but you can culturally make it seem trashy and gauche.

I wish right wing millionaires were as big picture and public minded as left wing millionaires so that we could get campaigns for these things off the ground easier. Elon buying twitter is the closest we've come to it, and even that seems like it happened more by accident or on a whim than any actual plan to push the country in a positive direction.

All great ideas for dealing with something that is way too mainstream now. Seeing adults with full sleeve tattoos just makes me think they are completely short sighted and selfish- especially if they have young kids. Tattoo removal is one thing but then there’s what to do about the next epidemic- old tattoos on ozempic skin.

I’ve always said tattoos should be relegated to the military, religious zealots and convicts. There’s a lot of overlap there but that’s a conversation many aren’t ready for. I say this as a veteran with tattoos. (I’m a degen I know sorry)
