Weekly Round-up 10/28/2023

We're rolling

Happy weekend everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. This week offered another eclectic mix of articles, from an overview off the very important 1919 Seattle General Strike (please read this article, it’s all right there) and the man who ended it to a reminder to everyone to understand the moment we’re in right now, as the future appears unexpectedly good.

Another notable development was that a long-paywalled history article on the changing names of the White Army during the Russian Civil War and General Wrangel’s brilliant solution to this problem of identity is now available for free. I think it’s very relevant to ongoing discussions. I don’t plan to make paywalled articles free often because I want paid subscribers to have lots of exclusive content and also I desperately need more paid subscribers so free subscribers must depend on table scraps.
