I'm reading Black Mischief by Evelyn Waugh and it's hilarious. Highly recommended. I'm almost done and without giving away any of the plot, I will just say that had our betters in the military and the state department simply read this book before they started nation building in Afghanistan (of all places) that our country would be much the better for it.
I've been playing Aliens: Dark Descent - interesting take on the squad-based tactical game as you can only control movement of the whole squad, with the AI prioritizing most individual actions. Very enjoyable so far. Have you heard of the Russian Civil War strategy game "The Last Train Home?"
Mystery Grove is starting his transformation into the perennially-injured Endurance Athlete Guy, this does not bode well....
By the way, thanks for the Boys in the Boat recommendation - I told my boomer boss (the epitome of an aging jock, super good guy) about it and he was stoked to see it.
I’m playing Halo MCC and StarCraft 2 arcade games. Really liked your article on governor abbot but unfortunately it looks like it’s escalating. Biden is halting LNG export approval licenses as punishment for Texas’ action on the border. Hopefully trump wins soon.
Another great week! Just interested if we will be seeing any content on the consequences of brown v. Board of education, desegregation, and national guardsmen being federalized to force by bayonet point the new polices. With all the talk about the Border rn, I've been seeing liberal circles froth at mouth for Biden to do the same by federalizing the guard. In the end it's all bark and no bite, but it was really any interesting turning point in American history. Also i need more books to read so keep em coming lol. Keep up the solid work!
I'm reading Prophet Song by Paul Lynch. The plot is Ireland falling into totalitarianism and civil war due to an undisclosed national emergency. I'm too early in to give it any sort of rating for the plot but I am enjoying the unconventional writing style. YMMV

Yes! I'm playing it right now for a review

Not reading anything currently studying to take my EIT electrical engineering exam!
Good luck!
Finally watched Boys in the Boat with my wife and her grandma, you were right everyone loved it. Thanks for the recommendation

Replaying Tom Clancy’s The Division. It’s pretty fun especially once you rank up to the 20s and figure it out [again]
