People in a perpetual state of crisis are easier to manipulate.

In my family group chat I conceded that yes a regional war would indeed be a betrayal on the part of Trump, but that nothing is gonna happen and also Trump more than any politician in our lifetime has earned the benefit of the doubt

I am simply picturing that image of the cat drawn in the snow on a city street and am at peace.

There are certain occasions where the most important question is not: right or left. The most important question is panic? Or calm? If there’s anything I’ve learned from covid it’s to remain calm when chaos is abundant. This latest bout of chaos has shown me that panic is non-partisan, in fact the “I won’t die for Israel” Right seems to be spiraling even more than the left regarding the Israel vs Iran nonsense.

These Panicans ruined any shot we had at a beautiful, Mystery Grove’s “10 year retrospective since the American Lion descended from the golden escalator” article

Nah but it’s nights like these I understand why you left Twitter

Grown men acting like little girls,

One would think that we’ve already declared war, and already lost hundreds of soldiers the way they’re talking about the situation in the Middle East,

I had to put the phone down, and I’m addicted to Twitter!

I’ve just been replaying some Simpson’s Hit and Run for a little challenge

Haven’t played it in a while, and it has a reputation for being quite difficult, but when I first played it as a kid I didn’t know that and remember getting quite far in it, if not beating it entirely

Basically every mission gives you just enough time to drive to where you need to go, but if you’ve recently played any of the first 3 3D GTA games, it’s not super difficult

But the ps2 frame rate for that game is abysmal lol

Hi.

I became a paid subscriber just to leave this comment. Can you please reach out to me via email or DM?

I have a near surefire lead for republishing the book “race war in high school” (the authors daughter) and I know you guys used to be in that biz.

I want to make sure this happens and it goes to someone responsible and reputable.

Thanks for your consideration.

My father went to the high school. I want more people to be able to read the story.

I listed to an audiobook reading of portions of the book, and it parallels what I’ve read of other neighborhood takeovers after the forced bussing. Such tremendous violence was carried out against completely innocent people but because we didn’t have social media or phones, they weren’t recorded for posterity. Did your dad ever share those stories or write down a sort of memoir?

Most of his stories are similar to the book and events in it. He hasn’t written any down, and he also was after the main events in the book, so he did not catch the worst of it. It was still hell.

One thing he highlighted was that much of the violence happened with people who didn’t even go to the school. They would come and stab, rob, assault, etc. just knew other kids from the block
