What good governance shows us is that winning not only lets you get the policies you want, it lets you destroy the institutional sources of left-wing power by giving you control of the processes used to deal with crime and corruption, and by controlling the administration and bureaucracy responsible for giving tons of these people jobs and paying their patronage class. Even one victory can drastically change this dynamic.
As a Minnesotan it really sucks that libtards have a strangle on Minneapolis. There are so many great towns in Minnesota filled with patriots, and I hope we can finally turn this state red.
The biggest example of good governance trickling down is of all states, Vermont. Phil Scott is far from a based guy, but he's an extremely popular Republican governor of a super libtarded state that elects people like Bernie Sanders and in 2024 he campaigned for down-ballot Republicans in Vermont and made a ton of gains down the ballot, even flipping the Lieutenant Governorship. He helped Republicans flip 19 state house seats and 6 state senate seats nearly flipping the Chamber. Even if Phil Scott himself is more of a normie liberal, those gains down the ballot can help plant the seeds for better politicians to rise up in the future.
Minnesota needs this, Illinois needs this (Bruce Rauner was a disastrous executive and got eaten alive by the Dem machine, he set the ILGOP back decades sadly) and all other blue states.
Flipping governorships and then good governance once those candidates are in office are so important. There’s definitely a trickle down effect that makes future wins easier and provides some solidified guaranteed electoral college votes in a Presidential election. Obviously Desantis’s Florida is the most recent example and a great playbook for things like this.
Volunteering with a Minnesota 2nd amendment organization, I see a fair amount of what goes on in the "Minnesota conservative" mind. Like many states, Minnesota GOP has terrible, incompetent leadership. I suspect the suprising competitiveness of this election is down to the 50% of the state that's not in the cities being fed up with the Somali fraud (and to a lesser extent the usual trans and high taxes). If the DFL had managed to hide the fraud scandals, Minn GOP would have 0 chance.
The largest, lowest level of the base is pretty pro-Trump, but they need a coherent strategy to pick up the anti-Trump GOP portion, who are Dems from 15 years ago. Given this, distancing from Trump is the play to win the election, but doesn't bode well for striking action to save the state after some miracle victory.

The GOP has some ridiculous money advantage this year that I think most people, and even pollsters, are really underestimating. The fact that the RCP average has jumped 2 points in the last week to me is less indicative of some kind of october surprise for the republicans, and more of the kind of cope that is pulled where more heavily dem weighted polls come out closer to the elections. I think we're going to do all right this year.
I saw Resident Evil last night. I thought it was very good, plot, story, cinematography, everything was very good; and frankly is very "Right Wing" coded in that it's very much about a late millennial/early zoomer dipshit staying true to his heart and the mission, and answering the hero's call.
Same thing with red counties in California and Illinois.
