Back during the Floyd riots, I was driving home after picking up dinner (to-go) at a restaurant. I saw rioters ahead of me swarming around vehicles (vividly remember a black truck getting surrounded). Luckily I was far enough back to be able to turn off the main road and take an alternative route home. I didn't see what happened to the truck.

I was relieved to get away, but I think about it a lot - what if that were my wife, kid and I in that black truck, getting swarmed by freaks? What would I have done?

Really not much you can do when surrounded by hostile crowds. There was some lawyer from Washington state during the Floyd riots who went through the limited possible reasons for use of a concealed weapon when a car is surrounded. I was shocked how very few exist! Not going to post them here as I’m not a lawyer and not giving legal advice. Best to avoid or just wait through it. Don’t get out of your car!!!
