If I could have seen the future, I would have gladly killed 61 billion people to have avoided this horrible fate.

Additional PSA: Death of the Author is only a thing when we want to make older characters gay, otherwise what the author says is ironclad law

No doubt that media-illiterate Trump voters will see this as a satire of the left.

I wanted to send this to my friends, but they are free subscribers and therefore the worst villains imaginable. Like 50 Strongchads.

Classic bigot failure to understand meta textual analysis. Not once did you mention an Adorno, Foucault or even what grad school program you studied. Even a simple smirking YouTuber could have redeemed your article, but no. Because of this, you can't understand Satire or satirical related writing. If you contextually analyze the use of dogs in the story, you'd come to realize that the point is to praise equality, gayness and justice

yes, yes that’s all well and good as far as it goes but I’d like to return for a moment if we could to the “making love to the beautiful and possibly insane redhead who’s been obsessive for years” part

If you could just explore that idea at a bit greater length. Flesh it out, as it were?

It was so funny watching everyone get the panties in a bunch over a Sony marketing narrative. The guy who came up with the idea of using Starship Troopers, a Sony film, to market Helldivers 2, a Sony video game was genius.

At risk of sounding like a schizo-conservaboomer, this trend we are seeing is yet another outcropping of bolshevist thought. A very Marxian desire to seem clever, to "punch back" by defying another norm established by basic common sense.

"This is actually a cautionary tale!" shouts the NuMale at Dune/Starship Troopers, in perfect imitation of Marx talking about Nietzsche; both sweating profusely and doing that disgusting fat person mouth breathing. "Heroism is actually bad! Strength is actually weakness!" he confidently proclaims, excitedly looking forward to him and the rest of the "vanguard party" trampling beauty in the name of formless, grotesque syndicalism.
