Despair, black-pilling only serves those who are cheating. Even a victory at the local level, participating in the actual election, can start to add up. Yes, they will try to Rig the election, but knowing this, will you let them get away with it? In your neighborhood, your own backyard?

I live in CA so my vote is literally worthless when it comes to presidents but I remember literally begging my coworkers in 2020 that they could vote for Biden all they want but DO NOT cast your ballot for a pro-crime prosecutor. Gascon won anyway and life got measurably worse for everyone. Elections have consequences.

I wonder how many Californian people who think their vote is worthless do not vote.

Cast your vote.

I'm genuinely torn on this, because continuing to participate in a rigged game is tacit approval of the whole affair. We know they cheat, they know we know, and the "fans" keep watching because 2 teams + 2 sets of goal posts + countdown clock = legit game. So one team is the DNC, the other is the RNC, and the bureaucracy is one referee with the media being the linesman (who decides what's offsides I think, not a sportsball guy). The DNC cheats, and the RNC gets a cut of the profits for throwing the games and/or making it look legit so the fans, the Commons and the Aristocracy, continue to approve of, participate in, and accept the process + outcome. So continuing to show up and keep the RNC bench stocked is not helping, in my opinion and within the context of my metaphor.

At the same time, elections are always rigged, otherwise they wouldn't be consistent or trustworthy over time. It's a feature of representational demotism, not a bug, that the scales have convenient positions for thumbs, and when you have a virtuous elite [1] this can be an ideal system. The reason elections have to be "rigged," or mediated or doctored or whatever you prefer, is because, at a fundamental level, the demotist process is a tacit agreement to go through the motions of a battle without the killing & destruction. That's why it's called a "campaign" and there are lots of other attributes that show the connection to war. We've lost the utility of this neat trick because we let people who could not fight, who would do nothing but litter the sidewalk outside the morgue, be a part of the process, but primitive intuition still exists in the head and heart.

So, while I stand firm on my assertions in paragraph 01, I must admit that it doesn't matter if it's going to be rigged, because A) the campaign, the roller coaster of a Trumpian Presidential Campaign, is a legit battlefield on which we can actually score hits and take territory, and B) we need that head-counting moment, we need long lines at every polling station, we need an overwhelming mass of voters who have put a chit in the jar and expect it to be counted. All the other factors, illegitimacy & fraud & permanent bureaucratic oligarchy & longhouse dynamics & etc etc etc, are still at play, but that Official Head Count matters. If it didn't, they/them wouldn't worry about it.

I will (try to) stop saying 2024 is going to be rigged.

Thanks so much for this. Organizing and voting is also fun and a way to meet great people. The GOP is also subversive now in polite society, which means it is sexy. Our joy and confidence will overpower the dour, gross Brezhnev-esque attitude of the democrat party!

Before you finish telling people to shut the fuck up, YOU shut the fuck up. With all of the censorship taking place which includes our former (and I argue present) president, you tell people to shut the fuck up?! This is probably the MOST important debate for EVERY American to engage in! I believe the electoral system is horribly compromised. Having said that, wild horses could not prevent me from voting. I will.be there on election day, but I am in no way certain that my voice will be heard.

Shut Up? If nothing has changed since the 2020 election then why would you expect different results? If anything we need to get even louder about this!

"Nothing has changed"

Did you miss the whole COVID 19 thing and how it was used as justification to make changes to election procedure that have since been ruled illegal?

"The people who show up at the polls, or who just produce the most ballots, are going to win every election." How naive. Look what happened in Arizona when the voting sites were jammed but the equipment conveniently failed. And as far as producing the most ballots, jeez. Look no further than Michigan and Georgia where there were TOO MANY ballots vis-a-vis registered voters. Are you for real?

Everyone who dooms about Trump losing in 2020 and how it means all is lost forever leave out that it took a global pandemic and multiple now acknowledged as illegal "emergency" changes done in COVID's name to defeat him. The credibility to pull a global crisis out of the air within the next year does not exist.

Every American has a duty to vote against fascism. The only reason we KNOW that the 2020 Election was stolen, is because 74 million Americans voted for Trump and the Marxists in power were forced to implement a SLOPPY backup plan in response.

Americans must do the same in 2024 in even greater numbers. Force the fascists to expose themselves once more and respond accordingly.

Hopefully, tens of millions of Americans will patriotically and PEACEFULLY mobilize in the aftermath, with demands for FULL TRANSPARENT, AUDITS, new results and/or a new FREE AND FAIR ELECTIONS, as outlined in our Constitution. No violence and no acceptance of another fraudulent administration.
