Hi folks,
Very busy few weeks for me with work and an even busier time for my beloved paid subscribers.
The first big piece of content to drop was a re-release of my article on the 1919 Centralia Massacre, during which leftist militants shot up a Veterans Day Parade, were convicted of murder, and then released from prison after a bogus “wrongfully convicted” narrative was created. This really is an incident more people should know about. It’s all right there.
After that there were a remarkable two new episodes on the Mad Max series. The first was on the original Mad Max film, with a lot of attention paid to the America Right’s fixation on vigilantism and social collapse.
The second episode covered Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, which is one of the few genuinely perfect action movies. I also talk a lot about post-Apartheid South Africa, myth vs. fantasy, and the predictions people often make about the destruction of the United States.
If you want to catch up on my Mad Max content, you can listen to the first episode in the series (covering the newest film on the franchise, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga) here.
Upcoming episodes will be on The Bikeriders, Bladerunner 2049, True Detective S2, Sean McMeekin’s book “Stalin’s War,” George Washington’s strategy during the Revolutionary War, and (long-awaited) the first Command and Conquer game. That’s all I’ve got for now—see you soon.
