Any serious American government's biggest challenge will be to convince otherwise capable incels of contributing to society in any meaningful way instead of becoming NEETS or blowing their brains out. We need more positive energy, especially for a movement like ours which is supposed to build a better future. Thank you grove, very cool!
Good thoughts, CC. A large part of the right’s appeal should come from the fact that we’re not wild-eyed psychotics or perpetual malcontents. Looking like happy, healthy, mentally stable people will go a long way to bettering our public perception, and thus win people over.
I struggle with this but things that tend to help me;
1. If you’re in an office job all day, just go and take a walk. Whether alone or with a friend, whatever just go walk. Will clear the mind and worst case you’re exercising.
2. Appreciate the nature you can see around you, that bird right there? It’s awesome, hello bird. Oh wow stacks of butterflies right now that’s nice. Etc etc.
3. Your coworkers are likely feeling exactly the same just about whatever is stressful in their lives. Check in on them and if they’re stressed out just try to give them a boost. It helps them, makes you feel good and overtime everyone is happier.
I ended up learning how to manually destress using meditation.
It changed my whole perspective on life and opened the door to occult teachings.
I've found that most people don't know how to chill out anymore. This is a lost art form. The how is rarely discussed in our circles. Most people fall back on drugs.
I feel your pain. Nearly 40 years of trying to find the right way to eat. Then I found "Lean Health" by Paul Akers (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0990601021/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Well worth buying, about $15, and a easy read. No white sugar, no white flour, no preservatives, 80% vegetables and 20% protein. He says if it has two or more ingredients or wasn't from the ground or an animal, he won't eat it. He went from 250 lbs at age 55 to 165lbs in about one year's time. He's also physically active quite a bit.
After starting this lifestyle change, I am feeling so much better and losing weight. Doctor is pretty happy too!
All of this advice is good stuff. One thing I am blessed with, is I have a 1/2 acre property in the middle of town, with a view of the river and mountains. So I'm already surrounded by beauty but I've taken steps to make things even more beautiful by redoing/refinishing parts of my 100 year old house and the property, like I just refinished the back deck which looked ugly with peeling paint and dirty boards, now looks great, and I added a cattle panel tunnel which I wove wisteria through to create a tunnel of literal flowers in the spring, and leaves in the summer. I walk through it, have privacy, smoke my corn cob pipe, sometimes while listening to this podcast.
Surrounding yourself with beauty can be a lot harder for others than it is for me, but do what you can, it improves your mood greatly.

When I was an embittered teen, someone once told me "Think of the most normal person you know and just try and be like them." Good advice!

Very wise words that I think are more appropriate now than in many recent decades. Life is so busy and atomized that it's hard to keep your head up.
Would be nice to have a peaceful life but I am married to a woman 🫣
They do have a way of "disturbing your calm" don't they, yet we can't help but love them.
My life has dramatically improved when I stopped smoking weed. Probably one of the best choices i’ve made in my young adult life so far!

The #1 thing I need help with is diet and nutrition. There is actually too much info, often conflicting, especially in the “clean eating” space.
Does anyone have a practical, here’s what you buy at the grocery store, here’s what you eat for each meal, here’s what you eat for snacks guide?

Good luck to you.
I work for 7 days at a time, trapped in a floating metal box with an entirely random work/rest cycle.
Articles like these always make me smile and say “yeah that sounds cool” as I pour my 3rd pot of coffee for the day.
